Iringa region is in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. This region borders the dry belt of central Tanzania in the north and south bordered by Lake Nyasa. Iringa Region has rolled out between latitudes 7 º 05 º 32 ˝ and 12 ˝ south, and longitude 33 º 47 º 32 ˝ to 36 ˝ east of Meridian. Iringa region is contiguous with the Dodoma and Singida regions in the north, Mbeya Region to the west, Morogoro Region in the East and Region in the south.
